I’m a UX Designer with experience designing complex, enterprise-scale assessment products. From 2021 to 2024, I worked at Turnitin as the UX Designer for the ExamSoft family of products, where I advocated for a new category tagging experience, led the creation of content banks in the Enterprise Portal from concept to delivery, and built a working HTML, CSS, and jQuery prototype that later became the ordering question type used by test takers in Examplify.
I also contributed to Gradescope, designing features such as Institutional Trial notifications that supported increased product adoption, multi-version assignments to help combat cheating, and the emoji picker.
Before Turnitin, I designed the core design system for Doculife Global’s flagship product, including creating an original icon library to replace Material Icons and give the product a more distinctive visual identity.
Outside of my professional work, I have a strong interest in open source operating systems and infrastructure, which influences how I approach design problems. Working with Linux systems, including configuring mirrored storage with OpenZFS on Ubuntu, has strengthened my understanding of reliability, constraints, and systems thinking. I’m also an OpenBSD enthusiast and have even used it as a desktop environment.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, making homemade jellies, creating art, and taking care of my two cats.
